Yes. Apps you add to a limit are locked on your phone until you start a session. If you still want to use a site like YouTube or Instagram without the addictive features, you can use it through the RelockIn browser, where Shorts, Reels, feeds and ads can be switched off.

Totally fine! Instead, you can limit the normal Instagram/YouTube/etc apps with our screen time system. We designed it to make it easy to stop scrolling. Your apps are locked by default, and to unlock them you need to specify how long you plan to use it for (e.g. "5 minutes to check my DMs"). When your timer goal is up, we pull you out. Now, you’ll never accidentally doomscroll again.

You choose which apps and sites to lock. When you want to use one, you start a session in RelockIn: set a goal and how long you need. When time's up, it locks again. To keep going you have to set a new goal, and you can add guardrails and challenges to make extra time harder to grab on impulse.

You can always start another session. That's the point: RelockIn doesn't take control away from you, it makes every unlock a conscious choice. You decide how strict it is, from a gentle nudge to guardrails and challenges that make impulse unlocks genuinely annoying.

Yes, with our free Chrome extension. It gives you the same site customizations in your desktop browser.

Yes. Set it as your default browser and links you open from other apps will load in RelockIn, with your settings applied.
